Egyptian Papyrus paintings are made today in Egypt using the same methods used by ancient Egyptian thousands of years ago. The Egyptians were the first to invent a form of paper, papyrus papers are made from the pith of the papyrus plant. The art of making papyrus was lost for many centuries until Dr. Hassan Ragab rediscovered this process in 1966. Today you can buy papyrus paintings that are handmade using the same methods the ancient Egyptians used over 7000 years ago.
Papyrus was used to record man’s history, art, science and all facets of knowledge. Today we can see papyrus paintings depicting famous scenes from ancient Egyptian tombs, popular icons of this culture or portraits of powerful kings and queens of that era.
Papyrus art can be used to decorate or accentuate rooms around the house or the office. A 8 in. by 12. painting can be framed at a local arts store. Larger sizes are also available by special request.

Hi,
I’m trying to use the ‘Main Store’ link at the top of your blog to access your shop as I would like to purchase some of your goods. When I click the link though it asks me to download a file called ‘egs-style.css.gz’ then the web page doesnt load anymore. Is there any other way I can browse your goods and purchase items from you?
Thanks
