Playing up a school uniform
As this is the back-to-school season, the question that seems to be on every student’s mind is “What is a cool way to play up a school uniform?”. It is not just today’s school crowd that ponders this question, parents and especially mothers of teenage kids want to make sure their kids can be hip and still stay within the strict school dress codes.
There are of course the basics. Add accessories to your wardrobe, choose something that complements your form and matches the colors of your outfit. Go for Scarves in the winter, or jewelry. Different belts and/or headbands, hairclips. If your school uniform allows it, try ballet flats or moccasins or other hip shoe styles.
But, really, this is the advice you will get from everyone. Pick up an issue of Seventeen at the newsstand and that is exactly what they are likely to say you should do. That means it is what everyone else will be doing! You should definitely follow this advice for the BASICS, but to stand out and be really cool you need something different, something that is unique, different and will always complement your wardrobe, a real conversation starter.
We highly recommend that you take a look at this Egyptian Cartouche. A cartouche, in ancient Egypt, was made especially for the kings and queens of Egypt to show their Royal names. A pharaah typically had five or six roayal names and a cartouche for each one of them. Get your own unique cartouche that is made personally for you, you will love it.
